End of Short-Stay Visa Exemption for Belarusian and Russian Nationals Traveling to Certain French Territories
Attention : New Entry Rules for Belarusian and Russian Nationals Traveling to Several French Overseas Territories for Short Stays.
As per multiple decrees dated May 28, 2025, the short-stay visa exemption (up to 3 months within a 6-month period) has been removed for individuals holding Belarusian or Russian passports wishing to travel to the following destinations:
- Guadeloupe
- Guyana
- Wallis and Futuna Islands
- Martinique
- Mayotte
- New Caledonia
- French Polynesia
- Réunion
- Saint Barthélemy
- Saint Martin
- Saint Pierre and Miquelon
These travelers will now need to apply for a visa from the relevant French consular authorities before their departure.
